Our Vision
Last updated: July 2026
Partivize came from my time working as a Toyota parts advisor. I kept seeing real situations where customers needed answers fast, but the information was hard to trust, scattered across multiple sources, or missing altogether. Sometimes people brought in parts we couldn’t confidently identify (a window regulator with no label, a sensor with a rubbed-off number, and we had to turn them away. That stayed with me.
I remember moments at work where I knew an app like this would have helped instantly. That feeling is what kept me going through the late nights.
Why Partivize exists
Partivize is built to reduce that frustration: help everyday people find the right part in the least amount of time, with clearer information and visible uncertainty. The goal is practical answers that actually help you finish the job, not just a raw guess.
What makes it different
It was built by someone who has seen this pain firsthand in the industry, not from the outside looking in. The intent is practical: fewer dead ends, faster answers, and more confidence when dealing with real automotive problems.
Examples of the kind of real-world questions this is meant to handle:
- Coolant capacity for a 3S-GE (and what mixture ratio to run).
- The correct window regulator for a KUN Hilux (manual vs power, left vs right, build date differences).
- Whether a specific trim uses a different brake rotor size or caliper (diameter/thickness and pad shape changes).
- Which gasket, clip, or fastener is missing when someone shows up with only a partial assembly and a photo.
- Whether two part numbers are true supersessions (same fitment) or a revision that changes connectors, brackets, or hardware.
- Which O-ring/seal you need for a line fitting (and whether it’s reused vs replaced).
- Where supported by appropriate sources, surface relevant specifications with clear verification guidance.
- Picking the correct sensor variant when there are multiple options (connector style, harness routing, model-year splits).
How credibility is earned
Credibility will grow through real-world use. That means working toward better part identification and fitment context while remaining transparent about uncertainty and source limitations. It also means improving from feedback: what users searched, what they chose, what didn’t fit, and what solved the problem.
